Conference Program Includes Unique Theatrical Performance
Formal part of the “Kovalyov Readings” is traditionally accompanied by the Cultural program. This year will not be an exception!
The Grand Opening of the Conference will take place on 17 February 2022 at the Sverdlovsk State Children's Philharmonic Hall with the performance “Fate of the Man in the Fate of the Country” dedicated to the centenary of the Mitrofan Kovalyov.
The plot of the performance is constructed from memories on Mitrofan Kovalyov’s life presented in a storytelling manner.
Conference participants will have a unique chance to see live theatrical performance on the fascinated personal life and legal career of Mitrofan Kovalyov, his undrained optimism, love, and faith in his country.
The performance uses Mitrofan Kovalyov's archives, handwritten memoirs, photo, and video chronicles, as well as Mitrofan Kovalyov’s favorite compositions.
Directed by Andrey Rusinov, Production Director of the Sverdlovsk State Academic Drama Theatre and Sverdlovsk State Children's Philharmonic Hall, lecturer at the Yekaterinburg State Theatrical Institute. The performance cast is formed from the artistic team of Sverdlovsk State Children's Philharmonic Hall: Dance Ensamble «Ulybka», Boys Chorus and Jazz Choir.
After the performance all guests will be invited to the fourchette and Mitrofan Kovalyov Commemoration evening with Margarita Kovalyova.
