Sreto Nogo, Doctor of Law, recommends Kovalyov Readings-2018.
Sreto Nogo, Doctor of Law, President of the Serbian Royal Academy of Science and Arts, General Secretary of the International Association of International Criminal Law (Belgrade, Serbia), shares his opinion on Kovalyov Readings:
- I first took part in Kovalyov Readings three years ago, and now this event has become traditional in my calendar. The Conference provides an opportunity not only to focus on most topical issues of criminal law and criminology, discuss such issues and put forward some solutions, but also to share your views with foreign colleagues.
The problems that we discuss in Yekaterinburg are very urgent nowadays. The Kovalyov Readings Conference sets the topic for large international events on criminal law: in February it is Yekaterinburg, in May – Moscow, in June – Serbia, in October – Beijing, and so on. Yekaterinburg has become an important site for making relevant scientific and practical decisions.
My Balkan colleagues and I are looking forward to meeting our friends and partners in Yekaterinburg in 2018!
Sreto Nogo will speak during the first day of the Conference at the panel discussion: “Do social upheavals provoke crimes? Who is to be blamed? What to do?”
Join us in discussing topical issues.
